Creative workshops are a great way to bring the team together, learn something new and above all else HAVE FUN! So why not whisk the team away to for one of our workshops.

All workshops are open to absolute beginners to the seasoned potter & are guided by potters who are passionate about the craft. So no need to worry if you have never tried pottery as you will be in safe hands- our aim is to create safe space to play & create. You will be pleasantly surprised how therapeutic squishing clay after a hard day at the office!

Our studios are located in Brighton at Robertson's Yard Studios, or we can come to you.

Please note we can only accommodate up to 12 people in the studio (unfortunately the studio is not wheelchair accessible)

How to book?

To book classes & workshops please contact Ros prior to purchasing to confirm time & date of available sessions . Please book at least 3 weeks in advance.

All classes are non-refundable however we understand that life can get in the way so instead I kindly ask 5 days notice to change the time/date if you cannot make the booking.

Availabilities for Private bookings below (evenings available on request):

Monday, Tuesday- 10am, 2pm or 5pm

Wednesday - 10am or 2pm

Friday- from 6pm

Weekends on request

Refund Policy

Payment terms and conditions as follows:

Full payment of the event needs to be made at least a month before the workshop- to ensure materials are ordered in time for the event
Full payment includes a 20% non-refundable deposit
Numbers of participants can be changed up until 5 working days before the event
If there is an event cancellation only 50% of the event will be refunded- if notified after the 5 day notice before the event
No refunds will be made if participants do not show up on the day
If for any reason I am unable to run the course you will be refunded in full.

Create your own unique hand built ceramic plant pot during a 2.5hr workshop led by Ros from Romud Ceramics.
Through this engaging session you’ll learn traditional techniques to form & decorate your creations.
You will be provided with 500g of stoneware clay to create 2 unique small pots or 1 large pot.
All tools, aprons and materials will be provided - we recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting clay on!
After the workshop, Ros will take away the pots to her studio in Brighton where she will glaze and fire so the pots become functional vessel- The pots should be ready within 2 weeks.
Costs: start at 60£ per person (minimum of 10 people)*
We encourage a relaxed environment so please feel free to arrange beverages and catering for the workshops!

Bring your team together by creating a bespoke ceramic mural.

Attendees will learn traditional techniques to form and decorate your unique tiles, which together will form stunning ceramic mural.

This workshop is perfect for organisations who want to explore collaboration in a creative way.

This creative workshop can be used as a team bonding workshop, exploration of organisations values/ identity or a way of expressing people’s individuality within a larger community.

You will be led by Ros from Romud Ceramics who in a past life ran interior design workshops for large organisations & corporations.

Ceramic tile workshop program:

- Workshop will be split into smaller groups where we will explore conceptual ideas by sketching, writing etc this could be on a organisational values, mission, identity or idea.

- Ros will demonstrate basic hand building ceramic techniques and show some examples to get the creative ideas flowing

- Everyone will be provided with a 15x15cm tile (this can be a bespoke tile size which could even be used as an architectural feature*)

- Individuals can then design and sculpt a tile to form part of a larger mural- Ros will be assisting everyone with their ideas & how to bring them to life in clay!

- Once the tile sculpting is complete everyone can paint their tiles with colours clay slip

- Ros will then take the tiles away to her studio to get fired & then delivered back to site for assembly as a hanging piece (usually within 2-3weeks)

This workshop works well for groups of 10-25 people

*If you did wish to incorporate the tiles within a kitchen splash back, feature tiled wall Ros will be able to liaise with a building contractor for construction at an additional cost. Please be aware this requires some further interior design consultation.
